Commercial plumbing

Did you know that 2.5 billion people around the globe do not have access to safe sanitation? In fact, more than one billion individuals still use pit latrines to defecate. Fortunately, most homes in the United States have bathrooms that contain a wide variety of useful and sanitary fixtures. However, if you have been using the same outdated fixtures for years, it is time to upgrade them in order to make your bathroom experience more enjoyable, safe, and efficient.

1. Double sink vanities. Bathroom double sink vanities give you the best of multiple worlds – more storage space, more counter space, and your own sink. Bathroom double sink vanities are relatively large assemblies that contain two sinks, and many models also have numerous drawers and cupboards for efficient storage. This means that by installing a double sink vanity, space will no longer be an issue in your bathroom.

2. Walk-in bathtubs. These fixtures, which take up less room than traditional bathtubs, help bathers get in and out of the tub more safely. This is because they come equipped with outward-swinging doors that allow individuals to take just a small step into them, and this helps prevent trip, slip, and fall accidents. As a result, these types of tubs are perfect for the elderly and individuals who have mobility issues.

3. High-efficiency toilets. Unlike toilets from half a century ago, which typically used 7-8 gallons of water per flush, many modern toilets now only use about 1.6 gallons per flush. In addition to using significantly less water, high-efficiency toilets also have a more powerful flush because they create a tight seal in the inner tank, and this allows compressed air to forcefully push the contents out of the bowl. This means that by installing high-efficiency toilets, not only will you save money on your water bill, but you will also rarely need to use a plunger.

If you are still using an outdated bathroom, you must obtain more modern fixtures. Bathroom double sink vanities, walk-in tubs, and high-efficiency toilets, for example, will all give your bathroom the contemporary upgrade it needs. By obtaining these types of fixtures, you will be able to use your bathroom more safely, efficiently, and enjoyably.

About Me

I've seen a lot of cooking, home improvement and crafting shows and, let me tell you, they make things look way easier than they are. Most people really can’t remodel their own kitchen, paint a wall mural or whip up a gourmet meal in an afternoon. I’m here to share my ideas and guidance about home and family--things I've learned through trial and error. I've already made the mistakes so you don’t have to! Just don’t ask about the kitchen cabinet refinishing project that went awry.
